Volunteer Treasurer – On the Way Moreton Bay Inc.
Location: Deception Bay, QLD (Hybrid – work from home with in-person board meetings around the Moreton Bay region)
Hours: 2–5 hours per week + monthly meetings
Pay: Volunteer (unpaid)
About Us:
On the Way Moreton Bay Inc. is a local charity dedicated to supporting people in need by providing a weekly community dinner and fostering a welcoming, caring environment for all. We rely on the generosity and skills of volunteers to help us run efficiently and make a difference in our community.
Role:
We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer to manage finances, maintain records, and support the committee with budgeting and reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Keep accurate financial records
* Monitor bank accounts and cash flow
* Prepare reports for monthly meetings
* Assist with budgeting and annual reporting
You Bring:
* Basic bookkeeping or financial experience
* Organisational skills and reliability
* Commitment to supporting the community
* Ability to commit to being apart of our small but passionate team
* Ability to pass a police criminal history check (mandatory)
