We are recognized leaders in pre-loss consulting and post-event claims preparation for Property Damage, Business Interruption, Construction Works, Product Recall, and Cyber insurance.
This role involves developing skills to analyze financial data, build financial models, and communicate financial insights to key stakeholders under supervision. You will partner with senior consultants to manage various Forensic Accounting tasks while focusing on client communication, technical expertise, and risk management solutions.
This hybrid position offers flexibility to work from home or our Sydney office, allowing you to strike a balance between remote work and collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and validate financial and accounting data from clients
* Develop an understanding of insurance policies to provide tailored risk management advice
* Assist in preparing, negotiating, and settling insurance claims
* Prepare effective client communication materials under supervision – reports, slides decks & client emails
* Take responsibility for own fieldwork in a timely manner in consultation with engagement manager
* Work with the engagement team to identify and address key technical aspects of the engagement
* Develop strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal Marsh team
* Identify opportunities to drive proposal leads in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
* Deliver high-quality work within established budgets, timeframes, and deadlines
* Support project planning, reporting, and delivery to meet project objectives
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Audit, Middle Market, Commerce, or Insolvency
* Preferably experienced in insurance claims, forensic accounting, litigation, fraud, or similar economic losses
* Experience within the Insurance Industry is advantageous but not essential
* CA / CPA / CMA qualified and Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or equivalent
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to client service
* Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
