About the role
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in the Rockingham area with duties ranging from Wellard to Pinjarra, with occasional jobs further away.
This is a casual position with the potential to be full time after a three month probation period, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our carpentry operations, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects for our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
- Undertake general carpentry duties, including 2nd fixing, cladding, finish work, occasional roofing and occasional maintenance and renovations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
- Collaborate with the wider team to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a safe and clean work setting, adhering to all relevant health and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the trade
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and a focus on quality workmanship
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry, white card)
- Be able to work as part of a team and on your own unsupervised
- Have your own set of tools required to perform the tasks at hand
- Have your own vehicle
