Do you love working outdoors and creating beautiful spaces? We are looking for a Gardening and Maintenance Officer to join our friendly team at Stockland Halcyon Parks in Caloundra. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong gardening knowledge and a passion for maintaining vibrant, welcoming communities.
This is a casual role where you will spend 80% of your time gardening and 20% on general maintenance tasks. If you enjoy variety, take pride in your work and want to be part of a supportive team, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
* Maintain gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and visually appealing.
* Carry out general maintenance tasks across the community, including minor repairs and upkeep of facilities.
* Assist with routine and scheduled maintenance requirements for equipment and communal areas.
* Build strong relationships with homeowners and contractors, delivering exceptional service.
* Ensure all activities comply with WHS standards and Stockland policies.
About You
You are reliable, proactive and love working outdoors. You have solid gardening knowledge and experience with landscaping or horticulture, and you take pride in creating beautiful spaces. You are hands-on, flexible and enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same. Experience & Skills That Count
* Strong gardening and landscaping knowledge (formal qualifications desirable but not essential).
* Experience with general maintenance and handyman tasks.
* Ability to use a wide range of gardening tools and equipment safely.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* ACDC licence for weed spraying is desirable but not essential.
