**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Technology Risk Partner, Retail Transformation (Risk-In-Change) during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis. As a Technology Risk Partner, Retail Transformation (Risk-In-Change), you will sit within the Group Technology division to lead identification, assessment, reporting and monitoring of IT risks, controls and issues as a result of change initiatives impacting the Group Technology divisions risk profile. This will include the Retail Transformation Program. Leading the capability on Risk-In-Change for Group Technology, you will seek to implement key requirements of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) such as control self-assessment, risk event and incident management, key risk indicators (KRI) and issue management.
Reporting to the Head of Technology Risk, you will bring a pragmatic and commercial lens to managing IT and operational risk, identified through risk-in-change assessments. This will involve you providing guidance on risk acceptance and design of remediation plans while balancing risk and reward, board risk appetite and compliance requirements. This extends to regulatory, external and internal audit issues. Furthermore, you will support special initiatives with the Head of Technology Risk and the Chief Information Security and Technology Risk Officer, leading the delivery of risk awareness training sessions within the broader Group Technology division. You will also contribute to divisional, executive and board risk committee reporting.

**About you**
As an experienced technology and operational risk professional, you will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy proactively communicating with a business, such as to executive members, to provide expert advice on how to improve and maintain processes or increase understanding of project impacts.
Having experience in undertaking risk-in-change assessments and reflecting impacts on IT and operational risk profiles, you will have extensive knowledge of operation risk management frameworks, supporting standards, processes and practices. You have a detailed understanding of APRA Prudential Standards and are experienced in self and people leadership, including coaching and mentoring other team members as opportunities arise.
