The Opportunity:We are seeking a Technical Salesperson to join our Queensland team based in the Central/North QLD region (Mackay and surrounding areas).
In this full-time role you will manage an existing customer base while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
* Promote Smenco's range of premium welding and industry products
* Deliver tailored technical solutions and support to customers
* Organise monthly call plans and manage your schedule independently
* Conduct regular site visits, calls and follow-ups
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales enquiries
* Accurately maintain customer records
* Meet and exceed defined product sales targets
About YouWe're looking for someone who brings:
* Sound product and industry knowledge (welding or industrial equipment preferred)
* A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience
* Strong communication, negotiation and time management skills
* A motivated and proactive approach to sales and customer service
* High level of computer literacy and organisation
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader national team
* A current driver's license and flexibility to travel within your region
* Permanent residency or Australian citizenship
