About this role
Wormall Civil operates land development projects across the Southwest WA region, and Project Coordinators play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of civil construction projects by coordinating operational, planning, and compliance activities on site in support of the Project Manager, Project Engineer and Site Supervisor.
We have several positions available for talented new members of the Wormall team on projects ranging from Australind to Margaret River.
Working closely with the site team, you’ll ensure that daily site operations are well-documented, site office and compound are well organised, and appropriate resources are maintained, safety and quality standards are upheld, site office facilities are maintained in good order, and project records are filed effectively.
Site & Operational Management
- Ensure daily sign on is completed documenting all workers on site are registered and hold the appropriate qualifications and documentation
- Assist with the review of timesheets for workers and contractors
- Maintain site-based plans and documentation filing systems with latest revisions
- Maintain PPE stocks and manage PPE requests for needs on sites
- Maintain valuable housekeeping of containers and offices, ensure water fillers are topped up regularly
- Support site teams with administration tasks, project document control, coordination of site support activities and site deliveries and other ad-hoc coordination duties
- Support the Project Manager and project team during project initiation, kick off and mobilisation where appropriate
- Support procurement activities including vendor coordination, delivery tracking, and record keeping support
- Confirm requirements and available site locations for deliveries
- Conduct regular site stocktakes to verify delivered materials
- Organising QA documentation to support project quality assurance
- Coordinate and document site meetings as directed
- Support the site leadership in identify project risks or delivery constraints and contribute to mitigation planning
About you
- Safety first mentality, familiarity with WHS and environmental compliance standards
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of civil construction processes – understanding of site operations, drawings, and document management requirements.
- Able to liaise clearly with site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Proactive problem solver – able to identify issues early and follows through with practical solutions.
- Adaptable and proactive – you respond well to changing site conditions
Qualifications needed
- Qualification in Project Management, Construction or Business Administration, or working towards. (highly regarded)
- Relevant experience in a support role (same or similar) in a civil infrastructure environment
- A current and valid Western Australian drivers licence (Required)
- Construction Induction / White Card (Required)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Teams (Required)
