About the Role
Senior Accountant in the agribusiness team, responsible for providing tailored financial solutions to farmers, producers, and agricultural enterprises to achieve sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary, and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs.
* Prepare payroll tax returns, FBT returns, and activity statements.
* Work as part of a team, collaborating with intermediate and senior business services accountants.
* Use Xero.
* Liaise with clients and external service providers.
* Develop knowledge through U Learn, the Forvis Mazars individualized learning platform.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Services within an Australian accounting firm.
* Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent).
* Completion of CA or CPA qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience delegating and reviewing junior team members' work.
* Willingness to lead and learn.
* Previous experience working with agribusiness clients is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent English and Korean speaking & writing skills are essential.
* Administrative experience, preferably in a public practice environment.
* Experience with Xero Practice Manager preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Flexibility to perform different and varied tasks.
* Able to work under pressure and manage time and prioritisation.
* Motivation to work as part of a team in addition to completing individual tasks.
* Strong problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers.
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite.
