Base pay range

A$31.00/yr - A$42.00/yr

We are currently recruiting a Community-Oriented Support Worker to work primarily in the Bundaberg North area.

Schedule: 2 shifts a week at 6 hours each, with flexible days. Hours may increase over time due to expansion.

Responsibilities

* Collaborate with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to create engaging support experiences
* Engage clients in meaningful activities that foster social connections and skill development
* Ensure a safe environment for clients
* Promote independence and empower clients to make choices
* Document client progress and report concerns to relevant team members


Requirements

* Experience supporting individuals with neurodivergence is desired
* Certificate III in Individual Disability Support or a relevant qualification preferred
* Current first aid and CPR certification
* Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
* Current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
