Boilermaker and Boilermaker Supervisor
GB Industries is a leading electrical contracting company servicing ports and mines in Mackay and the Bowen Basin.
We are seeking skilled and experienced Fabrication Projects Supervisor (with Boilermaker TQ) and TQ Boilermakers to join our Mackay based project team for ongoing port project works.

Key Responsibilities:
Boilermaker Supervisor role
* Overseeing implementation of all required Boilermaker fabrication, cutting and welding works as required
* Directing Boilermakers in implementation of welding and fabrication works as per blueprints and design drawings
* Engaging in welding and fabrication works as required
* Leading the project team to ensure delivery of all fabrication work as required
* Collaborating with senior projects personnel on variations and project management
Boilermaker role
* Performing on site Boilermaker duties in fabrication, cutting and welding as directed
* Reading, interpreting and following blueprints and design drawings
* Collaborating with project teams to manage variations and challenges in scope of work
* Maintain strong focus on safety and compliance at all times
Requirements:
* Fabrication (Boilermaker) Trade Qualification
* Experienced project supervisor (for supervisor role)
* Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience required for the supervisor role
* QLD Driver's License
* Proven industrial fabrication and boilermaker background
* Working at Heights, Confined Space & EWP (preferable)
* Commitment to safety and compliance
These positions would suit a Central Queensland local as flights are not included.
Successful candidates may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
