WHO YOU ARE
You are a strategic and hands-on ICT leader with a passion for innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence. You combine strong technical skills with a collaborative leadership style, and you're confident working across construction, hospitality, and service-based industries.
You’re driven to deliver reliable support while building secure, scalable systems. You bring sound judgement, a solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to turn strategic goals into practical results.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in ICT roles, including minimum 5+ years in a leadership position
- Experience supporting ICT environments in construction or hospitality finance
- Solid expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure(Azure), cyber security, and enterprise systems
- A proven track record of delivering ICT projects on time and on budget
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a continuous improvement mindset
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our ICT systems remain updated, secure, efficient, and aligned with business priorities. Managing daily operations with diligence, you will also take the lead on strategic technology projects that enhance efficiency and elevate service delivery throughout our construction and hospitality sectors. Your responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ICT roadmap that drives innovation and aligns with business goals and financial objectives.
- Lead organisation-wide digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational excellence and value realisation.
Technology Operations
- Oversee management of infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, backup infrastructure, telephony, and software platforms across core business units.
- Ensure robust system performance, enforce cybersecurity measures, and maintain full regulatory compliance.
Operational Management
- Direct ICT projects such as system upgrades, platform integrations, and technology deployments, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage helpdesk operations, driving continuous improvements to service quality and user satisfaction.
- Formulate ICT policies, disaster recovery plans, and comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
Financial and Regulatory Accountability
- Prepare, monitor, and manage the ICT budget; collaborate with finance teams to forecast expenditures and control costs.
- Develop and deliver regular ICT performance reports addressing project status, risk assessments, and compliance to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
People and Relationship Management
- Mentor and develop a high-performing ICT team, fostering professionalism, accountability, and growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement scalable, future-ready technology solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
