About the Role
As a Program Officer, you will provide administrative and operational support to assist in the delivery of program activities and services related to the RPBS. You will contribute to the effective management of program processes, stakeholder enquiries, and day‐to‐day operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and client‐focused outcomes. You will play an important role in supporting program implementation through maintaining systems, coordinating workflows, and assisting with communication and reporting activities.
In this role, you will:
* Manage and triage mailbox enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
* Prepare reports related to medicine funding using existing process documentation
* Provide high‐quality advice to management on pharmaceutical program matters
* Respond to enquiries from the veteran community and healthcare providers
* Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding pharmaceutical program activities
* Draft or contribute to briefs, funding decisions, and stakeholder correspondence
* Participate in team meetings, training sessions, workshops, and mandatory learning activities
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process streamlining activities
* Complete administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and general program support duties
Mandatory Requirements
* Strong skills in mailbox management and enquiry triaging
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment while following established procedures
* Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time‐management skills
* A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality client service
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience within the APS or Federal Government environment
* Experience working in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or program administration settings
* Exposure to stakeholder engagement and customer service delivery
* Understanding of government processes and reporting requirement
