Rehabilitation Consultant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation services, you will work closely with nurses to support military personnel throughout their recovery journey.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to develop return-to-work plans, implementing and monitoring rehabilitation programs, and completing initial assessments and worksite reviews.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current unrestricted registration or membership with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, tertiary qualifications in Nursing, and experience in case management. Strong clinical reasoning developed from a minimum of 12 months working as a fully Registered Nurse is also essential.
Responsibilities:
* Develop Return-to-Work Plans: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create personalized return-to-work plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
* Implement and Monitor Rehabilitation Programs: Develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs that promote optimal recovery and return to work.
* Conduct Initial Assessments and Worksites Reviews: Conduct thorough initial assessments and worksite reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
Requirements:
* Current Registration or Membership: Hold current unrestricted registration or membership with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Tertiary Qualifications: Possess tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
* Case Management Experience: Have experience in case management, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and return to work.
* Clinical Reasoning: Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning developed from a minimum of 12 months working as a fully Registered Nurse.
