Job Description
The Fleet Support role will support our Burnie transport and logistics operations across road, rail, and shipping. This is a hands-on, Monday–Friday role providing administrative and operational support to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient transport services.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily support to transport schedulers and logistics operations
* Managing overflow fleet phone calls and general fleet enquiries
* Data entry and system updates (CBS, Tollworks, Oracle)
* Monitoring driver timesheets for fatigue and mass management compliance
* Supporting fleet maintenance coordination with internal teams and suppliers
* Assisting with safety activities, toolbox talks, and OHS compliance
* Providing leave cover across logistics administration and container control teams
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Experience in logistics, transport, or fleet support (highly regarded)
* Understanding of heavy vehicle compliance, Chain of Responsibility, and OHS
* Strong organisational, time management, and data accuracy skills
* Confident communicator and cooperative team player
* Customer-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Desirable
* Exposure to rail and shipping operations
* Experience in unionised environments
* Strong computer literacy and logistics systems knowledge
