About the Role Based at the Haughton Solar Farm, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of a Large-Scale Solar Generation site complete with Synchronous Condenser. Reporting to the Solar Farm Site Manager, you’ll carry out electrical operations, maintenance and asset monitoring, and support future site expansion works. Key Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, SCADA and civil assets. Troubleshoot faults, conduct shutdowns safely and record activities in the CMMS. Monitor the site via SCADA and provide after-hours on-call support when required. Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to safety and site procedures. Asset Management Conduct condition monitoring, inspections and defect reporting. Support small upgrade and modification works on assets and equipment. Assist with asset planning, spare parts control and procurement. Health, Safety & Compliance Champion a strong safety culture — report hazards, incidents and improvement opportunities. Follow WHS procedures, wear required PPE and participate in toolbox and safety meetings. Conduct contractor and visitor inductions. Ensure compliance with company policies, including cyber and data protection requirements. Qualifications & Experience QLD Electrical License Electrical Trade Certificate Experience in electrical operations and maintenance Desirable HV switching/permit recipient experience Experience with DC systems >1000V or renewable energy assets (solar/wind) EWP accreditation Ability to work well in a small team Skills & Attributes Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability Computer literate — Microsoft Office, SCADA, CMMS Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation Safety focused, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision Benefits Salary: $155k package (inclusive of 12% Superannuation - Base $138,392) 10% STI eligibility annually Vehicle and Fuel card provided Opportunities for training, development and interstate travel How to Apply If you are interested and believe you have the required experience, please apply now with your updated CV or call 02 8079 0900 for a confidential discussion.
