About the Role:
This is an exciting temporary opportunity for a Social Worker looking to take the next step in their career, to join the Acute Allied Health Services team at Canberra Health Services.
In this position you will be providing appropriate skilled clinical assessment and psychosocial interventions across a range of clinical services. This will include individual and group sessions for patients and carers. You will be responsible for liaising with patients, carers and service providers to enhance and improve clinical outcomes and develop partnerships for health promotion and other service activities identified in the business plan. You will exercise professional judgement on a wide novel, complex and critical cases/ tasks under professional supervision.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses a moderate level of clinical experience such as assessing, identifying and implementing complex patient interventions. You will practice a high standard of ethical practice in line with Canberra Health Services and the Australian Association of Social Workers standards such as maintaining patient confidentiality and making sound decisions. You will also have the ability to independently manage a high workload under supervision.

* Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
