Job Description:
As a senior professional, you will ensure the highest level of safety for workers, contractors, and the environment in your designated area. You will lead risk management activities, maintain work instructions, perform internal audits, and coordinate global initiatives to improve workplace safety.
1. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards to prevent accidents.
2. Maintain and update work instructions to ensure compliance with Federal and State WHS acts and legislation.
3. Perform internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the HSE system and facilitate external audits as applicable.
4. Drive global initiatives to reduce GHG emissions and promote sustainable practices.
5. Ensure safe work practices comply with company procedures and relevant legislation, identifying and evaluating hazardous conditions and acting on findings appropriately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum Cert IV Training & Assessment or equivalent HSE training with a focus on manufacturing safety.
* Understanding of 5S+1, ISO 45001, and 14001 standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software.
