Key Role in Project Deliverables
The Senior Test Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring project deliverables align with requirements and testing is rigorously conducted throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will implement the project's test management plan in accordance with established standards by stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include planning, designing, managing, executing and reporting of tests, as well as functional and non-functional testing.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, design, manage, execute and report on tests
* Functional testing of capabilities or features
* Non-functional testing of qualities such as performance, security, access, backup and recovery, archiving and retention, robustness, availability, capacity, scalability, reliability, stress, volume, maintainability and portability
* Static testing and static analysis
* Manage risks associated with testing and take preventative action when needed
* Avoid adopting and adapting testing methods including waterfall, incremental or agile approaches
* Conform to agreed process standards, industry-specific regulations and data protection legislation
* Engineer, use and maintain testware to measure and improve the quality of software being tested
* Promote productivity through test automation, tools and best practices
For this role, an Australian Government Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance is essential. Candidates must also have at least 5 years' experience in testing environments for capability programs.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in testing environment for capability programs
* Bachelor's degree in a relatable ICT field
* Desirable: Experience managing complex capability investment acquisition and/or sustainment projects
* Australian Citizenship and a TSPV security clearance is essential
