Role Overview
The Sales & Service Technician is responsible for; solution selling, installation, technical support, service and repair of dispensing systems, hardware assets, and products offered by Harcher. As Harcher's South West Sales & Service Representative you will manage an existing customer base and prospect for new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
* Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate cleaning supplies and solutions.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
* Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
* Conduct product demonstrations and installations at customer sites.
* Install and maintain dispensing systems and hardware assets.
* Conduct diagnostic reviews, repairs, and replacements as needed.
* Provide technical support to customers and staff.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures during installations and repairs.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum two years of sales experience, or applicable customer support experience
* Practical knowledge and experience handling and using power tools
* Minimum 1 year field service experience in a commercial environment.
* Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Training
While prior experience is advantageous, Harcher provides comprehensive internal training on our systems and equipment, ensuring you are fully equipped to perform your role.
