Overview
As a JJ’s HR Truck Driver, you will operate a waste collection vehicle from the Hobart depot. You will service multiple customer sites on a safe, modern, and reliable fleet serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops. We are an essential services industry offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent role with family-friendly hours, early starts (between 4–6am) and early finishes.
Responsibilities
- Operate a waste collection vehicle from the Hobart depot.
- Service multiple customer sites daily with a safe, modern fleet.
- Work with on-site workshops for vehicle maintenance and servicing.
- Uphold high safety standards and compliance in all duties.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.
About You / Qualifications
- Current HR license.
- Experience with side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, tanker or front lift trucks is preferred; full training will be provided.
- Ability to structure runs and maintain excellent rapport with customers.
- Commitment to JJ’s Waste values and willingness to embrace workplace diversity.
- Dedicated to high standards of safety compliance.
- Subject to a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
- Able to provide your last 5 years of traffic history; or able to obtain a driving history check from the Service of Tasmania.
