Jack Nimble is a creative agency‑production company hybrid that specialises in social‑first content. Our vision is to: create the best social content in the world.
We work with brands like Samsung, Spotify, AMP, Destination NSW, Gumtree, Liquorland, NRMA and ASICS helping them show up in culture, not just in feeds.
In 2021, Jack Nimble joined Sparro, Australia’s largest independent digital marketing agency. Together, we combine creative thinking with deep performance expertise, giving our ideas the power to travel further and perform harder.
Position Description
The Creative Strategist understands how modern brands are built through social, content, campaigns and culture. They untangle complex business problems and turn audience behaviour and cultural insight into clear direction for social‑first creative work. Working closely with clients, creatives and content teams, they shape the thinking behind briefs, strategies, pitches and campaigns.
Skills
* Strong understanding of social, content, culture and platform behaviour
* Ability to turn research into clear, useful and interesting audience insights
* Strong deck writing and storytelling ability
* Strong understanding of brand strategy, content strategy and comms planning
* Ability to shape creative ideas and help teams make the work sharper
* Confident presenting strategy, creative thinking and campaign rationale to clients
* Ability to research culture, categories, competitors and audiences, then find the interesting angle
* Strong taste level and understanding of what makes work feel current, distinctive and effective
* Ability to work closely with creative, production, account service and media teams
* Comfortable moving between big brand thinking and fast‑moving social content thinking
* Ability to simplify complex problems into clear strategic direction
* Exceptional organisational skills and experience working in a fast‑paced environment
* 8+ years of agency or brand experience
Responsibilities
* Write clear and inspiring creative briefs for campaigns, always‑on content, pitches and brand projects
* Develop social and content strategies across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and emerging channels
* Build brand strategies, creative platforms and campaign territories that can translate into real content
* Help clients understand what is happening in culture, social media and their category, and what they should do about it
* Work with Sparro to turn audience research, platform behaviour, category analysis and cultural observations into sharp insights
* Research culture, categories, competitors and audience behaviour to identify opportunities for clients
* Work closely with creative and content teams to shape ideas, sharpen territories and make the work stronger
* Build comms plans that connect the audience, message, channel, format and role of content
* Develop and present strategic narratives for client presentations, creative responses, pitches and campaign decks
* Analyse performance data and social learnings to identify insights and new opportunities
* Writing case studies for successful campaigns
