**About the role**
In this role you will be responsible for the support and operation of relevant technology infrastructure for our RROA plant. You will provide technical standards and solutions to meet business needs within technical area of expertise, perform aspects of team leadership, change, implementation and support of infrastructure across the plant.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Support end to end systems, processes and change management
- Support the delivery with the PMs, delivery managers, other IT teams, vendors and plant teams.
- Act as point of escalation for issue communication to all stakeholders
- Assist with the roadmap / schedule for support, including problem prevention and proactive monitoring
- Seek / challenge / organise and communicate costs of support
- Liaise and work with Coles Release, Project and Infrastructure Managers to successfully land changes
- Effectively manage and lead root cause analysis for reducing support incidents to minimise callout cost.
- Assist release manager to plan and manage release of software into production, co-ordinating with vendors, stakeholders and Coles Digital Release Manager.
- Develop and communicate strategy and procedures to provide comms to customers and stakeholders (vendors, RROA Coles staff).
- Devise and execute strategy for best practice support model, behaviours and process, with standards for efficient team operation.
- Support: Provision of out-of-hours support to plant operations (and office users).
- Assist with managing changes into production and liaise with RROA IT Manager to successfully implement new releases, life cycle management, infrastructure fixes and hotfixes.
- Provide vendor management through relationship building for support function to site.
**About you & your skills**
You are someone who has a passion for Technology & ability to quickly learn and put into practice new technologies and concepts. You have excellent interpersonal & leadership skills alongside analytical & problem-solving skills.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a lead role and a further 5+ years in IT.
- Experience in managing release stakeholders and building vendor relationships.
- Proven support or delivery capability in IT.
- Experience in managing/influencing teams from a functional perspective.
- Experience communicating and negotiating with business and IT groups.
- Experience with vendor management would be beneficial.
- Experience working in a (food) manufacturing business highly beneficial.
