The role of a Principal HR Data Engineer at Queensland Health is a critical one. In today's demanding HR landscape, our team is responsible for maintaining and reporting on various Department of Health's HR data and reporting solutions.
We are seeking a high-performing individual to join our team as a Principal HR Data Engineer. This person will design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and existing platforms for data processing and analytics.
* Develop and maintain robust data models and pipelines, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability.
* Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and collaboration within the team.
* Encourage innovative approaches to data management and reporting to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
The ideal candidate has excellent knowledge of SQL and data modelling, with a strong understanding of industry best practices. They have demonstrated experience with Azure cloud platform (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory), Oracle, and human resources functions. A general understanding of Decision Support System (DSS) experience would be advantageous.
