Mechanical Design Specialist
About the Role
* We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Mechanical Design Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing functional statements, organisational charts and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units.
* You will also analyse workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction.
* As a Mechanical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment.
About You
* To succeed in this role, you will require an engineering qualification and experience in a similar role.
* You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to use initiative, be self-motivated, work under pressure and adhere to planned deadlines.
* A White Card Driver's License is highly desirable.
Your Responsibilities:

Your Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* White Card Driver's License (highly desirable).
* Excellent communication skills.
