Role Description
This is a full‐time on‐site position located in Darwin, for a Bitumen/Asphalt Foreman. The role entails overseeing daily operations at asphalt projects, managing teams, and ensuring work is conducted efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, ensuring maintenance of heavy equipment, supervising construction work, and liaising with project stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards will also be a priority. This will start as FIFO, however, the client is looking for someone willing to relocate after a few swings.
Qualifications
* Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively on-site
* Experience operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment related to bitumen/asphalt projects
* Excellent Communication skills for managing team collaboration and stakeholder interactions
* Strong focus on safety, quality control, and meeting deadlines
* Valid driver's license and construction industry safety certifications (e.g., White Card)
* Previous experience in bitumen/asphalt work or a similar construction role is required
