Senior Registrar - Addiction Medicine Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Registrar to join our team in the Department of Addiction Medicine. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders and supporting patients, families, and carers under the supervision of Consultant medical staff.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in addiction medicine and excellent clinical management skills. You will work collaboratively with Consultants to provide training, supervision, and education for Resident Medical Officers and Interns. Additionally, you will fulfill educational requirements for the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) Advanced Training Curriculum to attain Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Support patients, families, and carers under the supervision of Consultant medical staff
* Collaborate with Consultants to provide training, supervision, and education for Resident Medical Officers and Interns
* Fulfill educational requirements for the RACP Advanced Training Curriculum
