The Company: A well- established organisation is searching for a Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role will be working as part of an established team and will be on a 6 month contract role with a strong potential to go permanent. Key Responsibilities: Prepare daily reporting and complete timely bank, suspense, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items are investigated and cleared. Maintain prepayment schedules and process accurate, timely journals, including reconciliations between HR and Financial Practice Management. Manage manual invoicing for client service recharges and book sales, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support monthly close and year-end processes, including audit preparation, and assist Treasury with cash forecasting and related journals when required. Provide ad-hoc general ledger support, analysis, and administration while complying with WHS obligations and promoting a safe, respectful workplace. About You Studying towards or completion of an accounting diploma/degree Need 2-3 total years' experience within a similar role Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Great verbal and written communication skills
