* Duration: Temporary Part Time position working 24 hours per week up to 8 January 2027
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of palliative care services, ensuring continuity and consistency
* Assist in managing ward/unit operations, including staffing, performance, and financial planning.
* Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes.
* Support the development of less experienced staff and ensure high practice standards.
* Contribute to practice improvements and operational management alongside the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager.
What We're Looking For
* A registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
* Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring less experienced staff.
* Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and contemporary issues in healthcare.
