This is a superb opportunity for a talented and hardworking Quarry Manager to run a significant hard rock quarry, based at Albion Park Quarry. In this key role, you will hold direct responsibility for all aspects of operations at this important site - focussing on maximising the performance of people, plant, and equipment to achieve company safety, environmental and financial targets whilst delivering required customer service standards and performance outcomes.
As a leader of Health, Safety and the Environment you will also be accountable for budgeting and production targets, customer and community relations, quality compliance, crushing and screening, drill and blast, maintenance, stockpiling, load out and quarry development.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team with the aim of providing an efficient and effective production process in a safety focused environment and you will work closely with other operations in the business to develop strategies and deliver operational goals for the region.

About you
* Experience in safety orientated leadership and a working knowledge of Safety Management Systems, relevant legislation and regulations.
* New South Wales Quarry Manager Certificate (or other state equivalent) and practising certificate highly desirable.
* Quarry Management experience in a similar role.
* A thorough understanding of Drill & Blast as well as Quarry development.
* A strong maintenance background.
* Practical crushing and screening experience is preferred.
* Excellent people management & communication skills.
* Experience in budgeting & managing a P&L.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined environment to deliver productivity and cost improvements.
* Have a strong customer focus and be able to work well with sales and technical teams to deliver key business objectives.
* Understand Chain of Responsibility requirements.
* Certificate IV and or Diploma in Extractive Industries or relevant tertiary qualifications (Mining, Geology, construction, or similar) and a Shot Firers ticket are desirable.
