Right now the company is experiencing exciting growth across the country and we are currently seeking a motivated Network and Communications Specialist to join the Short Range Ground Based Air Defence (SRGBAD) Support program based at the Centre for Joint Integration facility in Mawson Lakes. The SRGBAD Support program manages leading‐edge defence equipment for the Australian Army's air defence capability, continually developing new enhancements to maintain the Army's technological edge in the air defence capability domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Technical Investigations and develop engineering and technical reports.
• Develop engineering design changes to network and communication systems.
• Work with the team to maintain cyber compliance.
• Conduct cyber security assessments and develop compliance report.
• Plan, document and execute integration and verification activities.
• Available to undertake travel to meet the requirements of the role including within Australia and internationally.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' prior relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Cybersecurity and/or Communication Networks experience desirable.
• Demonstrated experience within a Defence environment desirable.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering Lifecycle desirable.
