The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Principal Medical Education Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Advise the Director of Clinical Training of the educational needs of medical staff
- Identify prevocational doctors' educational needs and advise accordingly
- Develop, monitor, review and conduct education programs for supervisors of junior doctors including clinical teacher in service activities
- Identify, develop and implement resources to improve supervision and assessment processes
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education/Adult Education, or a higher qualification in Health Education, or a related discipline
- While not mandatory, possession of a higher degree or qualification or progress towards this would be highly regarded
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID-19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $122 108 - $131 044 per annum
