Improve Mental Health Services in Regional NSW with a Community-Focused Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment and intervention strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of people accessing our service within a community-based mental health care setting. This role involves working collaboratively across health service networks to plan and coordinate individualised psychosocial interventions, using a case formulation approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive assessment, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management and care planning
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate individualised psychosocial interventions
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with consumers, families/carers, and extended agencies
Requirements:
* General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR Mental Health Nurse OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
* Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Brief Intervention Models of Care
* Commitment to professional development and willingness to participate in continuous learning environment
* Well-developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning
* Sound understanding of public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs
