About the Role
We are looking for a trade-qualified Boilermaker to join the fabrication team at Pinkenba. The role involves workshop-based fabrication and welding of steel grating, handrails, walkways, and structural components in a safety-focused and team-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Fabrication and welding of steel grating and structural steel components
* Performing MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Core welding to engineering specifications
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
* Operating workshop equipment and maintaining tools
* Maintaining housekeeping standards and following safety procedures
* Working independently and collaboratively within a production team
Shift Times
* Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
* Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (early finish)

What You'll Bring
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Boilermaking, Welding or Fabrication
* Strong workshop fabrication experience
* Ability to confidently perform multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick & Flux-Core)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
