About the Role Join a commercial builder delivering commercial, industrial and mid-to-high rise residential projects across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. You’ll work across cost plans, estimates, take-offs and subcontractor pricing, helping assess risk, sharpen project costs and support commercial decisions across live and upcoming builds. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost plans, estimates and tender submissions Review drawings, specifications and project documentation Complete quantity take-offs and cost analysis Source and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options Support tender reviews, bid strategy and project handovers What You’ll Bring Experience estimating commercial construction projects Strong understanding of construction methodology and buildability Ability to read drawings, specifications and project documentation Experience preparing cost plans, estimates and subcontractor comparisons Tender experience highly regarded Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail Confidence working with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams What’s On Offer Salary range from $120k - $180k super Projects across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast Strong pipeline of current and upcoming projects Opportunity to work closely with established pre-construction and delivery teams If you are exploring your next role in commercial construction, apply now or contact Anita for a confidential discussion at anita@smithandco.net.au
