About the Opportunity:
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, assist with menu development and management of cost for your area. You will lead, motivate and supervise the team while ensuring quality and consistency. You must be energetic and enthusiastic with a real passion for your craft.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
 * Experience as a Pastry Head Chef, Senior Sous chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
 * Display creativity and a passion for all things pastry
 * Exemplary leadership skills with focus on staff development
 * Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
 * A proactive, problem-solving attitude with commitment to continuous learning
 * Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure and fast-paced service periods
 * Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
 * Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
