About the role
We have a number of ongoing capital projects and are seeking a site foreman/ supervisor to join our team and manage the refurbishment and structural installation of several water reservoir roofs and associated works.
In this role, you will be provided with a vehicle for work purposes, and will be responsible for supervising the delivery of capital renewal projects.
You will work closely with the project manager, engineer and leading hand to successfully deliver these projects.
Who We Are:
We’re a specialist contractor undertaking renewal and maintenance activities on large scale water reservoirs, working across South-East Queensland on potable and raw water assets. Our projects include everything from roof replacements and re-sheeting to platform installs, concrete work, and full refurbishments on elevated water reservoirs.
If you’ve supervised the delivery of roofing projects, structural repairs, or similar works – this could be the perfect next step.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all construction site aspects: safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
* Monitor work progress, ensuring high standards and adherence to safety procedures.
* Supervise and coordinate equipment, subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workers.
* Liaise with the project management team to meet project objectives.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
What we're looking for
* Strong leadership and experience as a supervisor in the roofing construction industry, or maintenance of assets, preferably within the water sector
* Strong technical knowledge of roofing construction techniques and materials.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Water Reservoir project experience is ideal but not essential.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
* Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
