We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to providedaily support to our residents at Bethanie Waters Aged Care Homelocated in Port Kennedy.
You will support our residents to improve their quality of lifeby assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety andwellbeing is maintained while building positive and professionalrelationships with residents and team members.
This role is offered on a permanent part timebasis and you will be available to work a range ofafternoon and night shifts.
Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support weprovide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve monthsexperience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
About You
* Previous experience working in an aged care or hospitalenvironment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well as a team and also independently
* Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of TheBethanie Group
* Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National PoliceClearance (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
* Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs aremet
* Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care,domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safemanner
* Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting andshowering) with dignity and respect
* Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environmentis maintained to an appropriate standard
