Job Description
As a senior educator in early childhood education, you will play a key role in driving the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning support across various centres. You will provide expert guidance and coaching to centre teams, empowering them to strengthen their practices and achieve excellence.
The scope of your work will include providing advice and coaching on quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), ensuring consistency and excellence in teaching and learning practices. Your focus will be on delivering targeted and effective solutions to meet the diverse needs of children and centre teams.
You will work closely with centre-based teams, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance their practice. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining currency and knowledge of relevant state learning frameworks and Australian ECEC practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality coaching and mentoring to centre teams to enhance teaching and learning practices
* Provide expert advice on quality ECEC, focusing on consistency and excellence
* Support centre-based improvement initiatives, including Quality Improvement Plan actions
* Maintain currency and expert knowledge of state learning frameworks and Australian ECEC practice
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from a recognized university
* Extensive experience in early childhood teaching, preferably in leadership or coaching roles
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, state guidelines, and the NQS
* Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
