We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of Refurbishments Sales Manager based at our Gold Coast Corporate office in the heart of Surfers Paradise. As our **Customer Relationship Manager** you will be responsible for effectively converting the sales of room refurbishments and apartment upgrades to the owners within the Accor Apartments and Realty letting pool.
**Reporting to the Manager - Refurbishment Sales & Projects, you're day to day role will see you;**
- Coordinate a portfolio of strata refurbishment sales projects
- Display an understanding and knowledge of hotel operations, those processes and sensitivities
- Understand the refurbishment costs and revenues to maximise the revenue outcome
- Drive the sales process of unit refurbishment packages in a consistent and professional manner to reach the final conversion and contracting phase.
- Receive calls and contact owners, building positive relationships with those in the Accor Apartments and Realty letting pool.
- Cultivate relationships with Accor Apartments and Realty owners to create a sales service culture
- Negotiate the scope of each refurbishment package to ensure upgrades work within individual budgetary constraints yet provide noticeable improvement to the room presentation
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and refurbishment procedure around all aspects of Accor Apartments and Realty Refurbishments
- Assist with the development of property specific campaigns
- Work with the General Manager and Owner Relations Managers to drive sales campaigns in conjunction with the annual refurbishment program
- Maintain the central refurbishment sales database
- Review and interpret individual letting agreements and appropriate cost structure allocations to negotiate comprehensively with owners
- Work closely with the Refurbishment team, Owner Relations team and Project Team to ensure a coordinated and professional outcome on all projects.
- Tertiary qualification sales or relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of sales or account management preferably within hotels and/or experience in a similar role
- Exceptional relationship building and management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Basic understanding of Trust accounting
- A passion for account management and ongoing business development
- Previous sales experience preferred but not a prerequisite
- Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills required
- Ability to perform autonomously with a trusted approach
