About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented print shop all-rounder to join our team. The role is available as part-time or full-time, depending on your experience and suitability.
In this role, you will:
• Operate a range of digital printing equipment and large format printers (Roland).
• Produce signage, corflutes, block mounting, and finishing work.
• Handle files, job setup, and quality control.
• Assist customers with their print, design and signage needs.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is essential.
• This role is active and varied, it combines computer-based pre-press tasks with hands-on print and finishing work. You’ll need to be comfortable standing for parts of the day and moving between equipment and workstations as required.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
• Previous print and/or signage industry experience.
• Knowledge of large format printing, digital printing, and finishing processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and correct errors.
• Initiative and independence, able to manage jobs from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• A friendly, reliable, and professional approach to both customers and colleagues.
• Good computer literacy, especially with PDFs, file preparation, and general problem solving. (We’re happy to train the right person, but a natural aptitude with computers is highly valued.)
• Graphic design skills (desirable, but not essential).
• We are happy to provide training on specific machines and processes, but prior industry experience is required.
