About the Clinic
This busy remedial massage clinic has been operating in Oxenford and then Coomera for 25 years combined and has built a strong reputation for delivering effective, outcome-based treatment. The clinic specialises in targeted therapies aimed at reducing pain, restoring function, and achieving measurable results.
This is not a relaxation or spa setting. Treatments are clinically focused and tailored to address musculoskeletal dysfunction and injury.
The clinic operates as a single treatment room run by the owner. There is no reception, and an online booking system is used. Therapists are responsible for independently managing their clients during scheduled shifts.
The Opportunity
Due to ongoing demand and the owner reducing her workload, we are seeking a skilled therapist to manage overflow clientele.
* Contractor position – 25% commission
* Average hourly earnings approximately $85
* Initially 1–2 days per week
* Increased hours available during owner’s 2–3 month overseas leave
* Strong potential to retain increased workload long-term
This role requires confidence, clinical competence, and the ability to work autonomously without supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality remedial massage or myotherapy treatments
* Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
* Provide pregnancy massage treatments confidently
* Manage client rebookings and payment processing
* Operate HICAPS/EFTPOS (training provided)
* Use online booking system (training provided)
* Maintain treatment room presentation
* Manage laundry, towels, and supplies during shifts
Essential Requirements
* Minimum Diploma of Remedial Massage (or Myotherapy qualification)
* Full health fund provider numbers
* Pregnancy massage experience
* Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
* Professional communication skills
* Ability to confidently manage the clinic independently
* Reliable, self-motivated, and organised
Highly Regarded
* Dry needling qualification
* Experience treating TMJ dysfunction
* Sports injury or rehabilitation experience
