About the Role
Are you passionate about creating impactful in-store experiences? Join Rip Curl as a Visual Merchandising Specialist and play a key role in shaping the look and feel of Ozmosis and Rip Curl Outlet stores across Australia and Recent Zealand. This is your chance to combine creativity with strategy to elevate brand identity and drive commercial success. Please note this is a fixed term 12 month parental leave position available from late November or early December 2025. This role is based in Torquay, Victoria and requires regular travel to store locations within Victoria, however, can include travel across ANZ.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute seasonal and promotional VM strategies that set Ozmosis apart as a multi‑brand leader.
- Lead visual planning for new store openings, refurbishments, and special projects.
- Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, and Retail teams to deliver cohesive product stories.
- Create and distribute engaging VM directives and maintain the VM Guide.
- Monitor performance and optimize displays based on sales insights.
- Coach and support Field VM teams to uphold visual standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Fashion, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in fashion retail VM across head office and store environments.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills; familiarity with VM planning tools is a plus.
- Strong project management, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Experience across outlet and full‑price retail environments.
