About the role
You Make Me Smile Orthodontics Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our dynamic team in Wodonga, Victoria. This full time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced orthodontic practice, where you'll play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of the clinic.
What you'll be doing
* Primary focus on reception and patient care
* Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
* Scheduling and managing patient appointments
* Handling patient inquiries and providing information about services
* Assisting the dental team with clinical tasks and procedures
* Maintaining accurate patient records and completing administrative duties
* Ensuring the reception area and clinic spaces are well-organised and presentable
* Promoting the practice and its services to potential patients
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the healthcare or dental industry
* Dental receptionist who is confident front of house and able to assist chair side when needed
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
* Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
* A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
