About the role
Agricultural Requirements is seeking an experienced Irrigation Fitter/Technician to join our team in Gatton, Queensland. As a full-time Irrigation Fitter/Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for our agricultural clients across the region.
What you'll be doing
* Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues
* Install, maintain, and repair various irrigation components, including pipes, pumps, valves, and sprinklers
* Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and advice to clients
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
* Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken
* Provide on-call support and assistance as required
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications/experience in irrigation, plumbing, or a related field
* Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Medium rigid (MR) driver's licence required
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform manual tasks
* Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
