About The Role
The Production Supervisor role is a Full-Time position, based at Yarraville, VIC. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will provide people and process leadership to the Gyprock Yarraville Production teams, ensuring the team\'s health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised.
In This Role, You Will
* Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
* Supervise the production team on a rotating shift roster (Day 6am-6pm, Night 6pm-6am) 24/hr x 7 days a week operation.
* Operate machinery and ensure materials are produced to the commercial standard.
* Ensure adherence with all Site Safety requirements, including PSIs, incident reporting / investigations and completing all corrective actions.
* Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other parts of the areas including Process improvement and Engineers.
* Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required.
What You Bring To The Role
* Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process role in a similar industry.
* A strong commitment to safety awareness
* Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person)
* Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment
