About this role

You'll be based on site at Wormall Group's head office in Cardup (near Byford), Monday to Friday, and reporting directly to the Group HR Manager.

Representing Wormall Group's five divisions, you'll be providing support to business leaders as we embark upon several significant changes and initiatives coming up over the next 6 to 18 months.

Experience in the Building & Construction industry is not essential; however, this position requires someone with several years of supporting a large and diverse blue-collar workforce.

What your day will look like

* Providing high level advice on organisational policies, award interpretation, and HR best practices
* Handling sensitive and confidential information
* Leading change management initiatives across Wormall Group
* Conducting workplace investigations and providing recommendations to resolve issues
* Support the performance review process, including probation assessments and performance improvement plans
* Mentoring HR team members on ER and IR topics
* You may be required (on rare occasions) to attend our Osborne Park or Cowaramup offices

Skillset needed

Please note that this is NOT a junior or entry level position. The following requirements are essential:

* Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
* Previous experience with a primarily blue-collar workforce
* Strong understanding of Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation
* Ability to work independently, confidentially, and with integrity
* Proficiency in HRIS platforms (preferably Employment Hero) and MS Office Suite
* A current and valid Western Australian drivers licence
* Unrestricted Australian working rights
