About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Urban Utilities Regional Treatment Plants (RTP) Program team. As part of this team, you'll oversee and manage the construction process on site, coordinating and directing the activities of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing and managing the construction process, including coordinating and directing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Enforcing safety regulations and building codes, and conducting regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations.
* Managing and resolving conflicts between parties involved in the project.
* Maintaining accurate records of progress, costs, and quality control measures.
* Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
* Identifying and addressing any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
* Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and permits.
* Managing the allocation of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
* Experience delivering infrastructure projects in Australia, focusing on electrical systems.
* Experience working for a tier one contractor is advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor, managing multiple subcontractors and direct employees.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
* Able to work and integrate into a team.
* Strong focus on health and safety.
