About the opportunity
Join our dynamic sales and customer service team as an International Enquiry & Conversion Officer! In this role, you’ll use your strong communication and customer service skills to respond efficiently and warmly to enquiries from prospective international students. You'll be supported with extensive hands-on training and mentoring to help you build confidence and contribute from day one. Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in an additional language relevant to our international student community is highly regarded.
Your core responsibilities include:
* Engage with potential international students through outbound calls, CRM, emails and follow-ups, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to convert inquiries into applications and encourage students to accept their offer to study at Southern Cross University.
* Follow established systems, protocols, and procedures to ensure effective communication, providing timely and accurate information in response to prospective student inquiries through various channels, including phone, email, live web chat, and social media.
* Utilise the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for lead capture, reporting, and communication while maintaining accurate records. Assist with outreach conversion activities and promotional events, such as Open Days, by providing friendly and professional support to prospective students.
About you
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. While not essential, proficiency in languages such as Mandarin, Hindi, Nepalese, Korean, Vietnamese, Sinhala, Tamil, Portuguese, or Bengali is highly valued. Your strong phone presence, cold-calling ability, and customer service skills help you engage confidently with prospective students. In addition, you will have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification at Associate Diploma level, and/or progress towards the completion of a Bachelor-level degree, and/or previous experience in an outbound call centre or a related sales position is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics.

* Full-time, continuing (permanent)
* Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
* HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $72,947 - $78,337 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $91,654 per annum.
