**Your new role**
Reporting to the EGM of People & Culture, you will responsible for leading the Payroll department and ensuring the highest standard of Payroll services are rolled out across Centurion. The Payroll Manager currently has a growing team with 3 direct reports, including Payroll Officers and a Payroll Team Lead.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Reviewing weekly/fortnightly payrolls
- Liaising with Business Units for payroll requirements/queries
- Maintaining and building relationships with key personnel within the operating businesses
- Run payroll projects with consultants such as integration of new timesheet and HR systems
- Assist with end to end processing of company payrolls payments (weekly & fortnightly) if required
- Reviewing payroll forms and adjustment requests
- Calculations and processing of termination/redundancy payments
- Processing and calculation of increases and back payments
- Co-ordinate the weekly payroll pay runs with the Payroll Officers, ensuring the Payroll payments are processed within deadlines
- Maintaining and providing payroll reports as requested from HR
- Assisting with interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to employee payments and entitlements
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
- Ensure payroll policies and procedures are adhered to
- Manage SQL reporting including adding and removing employees from subscriptions
- Maintaining Payroll System User Profiles, ie, end date terminated employees
- Complying with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. Superannuation guarantee, Australian Taxation Office, National Employment Standards, STP reporting)
- End of Month statutory reconciliations and payments; Payroll Tax, Superannuation, etc. for the Group
- Year End Payroll Tax annual reconciliations, submissions and payments for the Group
- Year End Processes and STP Finalisation for the Group
**Who we are looking for**:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated payroll processing experience (min 5 years)
- PayGlobal experience (desirable)
- Highly developed organisational, planning and computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a fast-paced team.
- Efficient time management.
