* Maintain accurate membership registrations, renewals, Blue Cards, Surf Sports entries and results, and CRM/SLS systems.
* Provide high‑level administrative support to Nippers, Lifesaving, Education, and Surf Sports programs.
* Assist with planning and coordination of Club events, meetings, presentations, and communication releases in conjunction with our Marketing Team.
* Support uniform and merchandise management, including stock coordination and distribution.
* Liaise with SLSQ, SLSA, Sunshine Coast Branch, local council, community partners, and sponsors as required.
* Ensure compliance with governance and reporting obligations (Fair Trading, ACNC, audits, etc.).
* Contribute to the smooth operation of the Club by anticipating needs, solving problems, and supporting volunteers and members.
About You
You are an organised, proactive, and customer‑focused administrator who thrives in a role where every day is different. You enjoy working in a community environment, take pride in high‑quality work, and bring a positive, solutions‑focused mindset.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Strong administrative or office support experience.
* Excellent customer service skills with a professional, welcoming approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence using online systems.
* Experience with CRM platforms and database management.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and show initiative.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, volunteer‑driven environment.
* Good problem‑solving skills and adaptability.
* Previous experience working or volunteering within the surf lifesaving movement.
* Familiarity with SLSA/SLSQ systems (SurfGuard, JustGo, Blue Card portal).
